Noida Extension Issue:
GNIDA has acquired land from farmers and alloted to builders. The acquisition process scraped by the Hon'ble court. Some issues and features of this development is as under:
1. There is a hope that GNIDA, Builders and Farmers may arrive at a mutually acceptable solution. Farmers may get better compensation and builder may continue with their projects.
2. All projects are not affected now, but, other farmers may follow the same track in coming days.
3. Presently, some part of project is affected in some projects only. Builders have started shifting of units to other projects, change layout plan, accepting cancellation and refunds.
4. The older sectors of Greater Noida, where land acquisition was done 5-10 years back, are safe and legally sound.
5. Uttar Pradesh Government have announced the farmers freindly policy on land acquisition.
